When The Stakes Are High, So Is Our Resolve
Biography
S. Clayton Spoeneman is a St. Louis native. He attended the University of Missouri as a National Merit Scholar with dual majors in Finance and Economics. Additionally, he earned recognition as a Roberts Scholar granting him pre-admission to the University’s law school. Clay elected to instead return home, and he earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University. Proving to be one of his better decisions, Clay met his wife while they were students there.
During law school, he interned for the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney and the Honorable Nannette A. Baker in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He graduated from law school in 2013 with a dual emphasis in civil and criminal litigation.
He now focuses his practice on helping plaintiffs injured by motor vehicle and trucking accidents, medical negligence, dangerous premises, and defective products. He also represents defendants part-time through the St. Clair County Public Defender. Clay and his wife live in Webster Groves with their three children.
