Premise Liability Case Results
Premises liability is a category of cases wherein an injury occurs due to a defect or unsafe condition on someone else’s property. For example, a slip and fall injury anywhere outside the home – – be it a store, someone else’s house, or even in a public place – – is a premises liability situation. Often, these types of cases also fit into a different category, such as construction accident or products liability. If a defective propane tank explodes while you are operating a forklift on someone else’s property, that is potentially both a premises liability case and a products liability case. Below is just a sample of recoveries secured under this theory.
