Kelly T. Crosby

Kelly CrosbyKelly T. Crosby was born and raised in Marion, Illinois where her father is an attorney and her mother a special education teacher.

She attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelors of Arts in psychology and sociology.  Before attending law school, she worked for five years in Chicago, Illinois at Misericordia Home, a long term care facility for people with developmental disabilities.

Kelly attended Washington University School of Law in St. Louis where she was a student member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, was a staff editor and published a Note (‘The United States and Iraq: Plant Patent Protection and Saving Seed’) for the Washington University Global Studies Law Review, interned for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, received an Excellence for the Future Award in Criminal Law, and defended juveniles accused of crimes in St. Louis County Family Court as part of WashU’s Juvenile Law and Justice Clinic.

Before beginning her practice, Kelly was a Law Clerk for three years for United States District Judge Hon. G. Patrick Murphy in the Southern District of Illinois.  Kelly then worked for a local defense firm before joining Keefe, Keefe & Unsell, P.C.

Kelly lives in Edwardsville, IL with her husband, a Union Laborer, and her son.
